SAO JOAQUIM NATIONAL PARK

Sao Joaquim National Park

The park is in the Atlantic Forest biome. It addresses a place of 48,three hundred hectares (119,000 acres). It was set up by decree on six July 1961, and it is administered via the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation. It covers portions of the municipalities of Urubici, Orleans, Grão Pará and Bom Jardim da Serra in Santa Catarin
